Welcome to the Davies Solicitors website.

I set up the firm in 2004 as a niche specialist general practice firm. I say “specialist” because general practice is increasingly rare amongst lawyers. But let’s face it: why would you want to be passed from one lawyer to the next just because the lawyer you liked only does disputes and you want a Will. Most of us don’t litigate very often, but we might need a solicitor for various one-off matters such as a Will, divorce, probate, house sale, dispute, power of attorney etc, and for which you want someone you can trust - trust is developed during the course of the client/solicitor relationship - which is where we come in: many of our clients have been returning to us for years.

Please take the opportunity to look around our website. At the top of every page you will see 7 tabs:

Divorce & Separation

Civil Disputes

Wills & Probate

Estate Planning

Powers of Attorney

When clicking on any one of the tabs, you will find a range of questions and answers. I hope that many of your questions will be answered there. Inevitably, though, some questions will not be answered. In which case, I would like to hear from you.

I am assisted by very able colleagues, and both I and each of my colleagues want to be a part in helping you with any questions you may have.

Our telephone number is 01223 842211; our email address is law@daviessolicitors.co.uk; or better still, pop in to see us (if you cannot come to us, and you are local, we’ll come to you).

I look forward to hearing from you.
